Pflag (Parents, family and friends of lesbians and gays) is a great organisation that counsels, educates and supports everyone who needs it. I think they're especially useful for families to consult when they have a son or daughter who is coming out. Anyway, their Washington D.C. branch very kindly gave me an award for my work and support of the LGBT community.
