A Strange Loop

In 2019 I saw A Strange Loop off Broadway and was blown away by its brilliance and innovation. in 2021, my friend (and former assistant) Jimmy Wilson asked me on his capacity as one of the lead producers of the Broadway transfer if I would like to be an investor , and later a named producer. I was honoured to be both, and to be part of this big, Black, queer-ass, Great American musical coming to the Great White Way.

The show was a huge success and won every possible award including the Tony for best Musical, and so as a producer I won my second Tony.

I was able to return in person to Boston and WGBH (which had somehow lost its W during the pandemic and is now merely GBH) to do another series of introductions for Masterpiece Mystery
