cabaret/live shows

Uncut

I premiered my new cabaret show Uncut on April 5th in Fort Pierce in Florida. I did a second show the next night in Fort Lauderdale.

This show is slightly different to my other cabaret shows in that it’s only myself and my musical director Henry Koperski onstage. I wanted to pare everything down for this show and try something new. I really wanted the audience not to not clap until the very end, in order to make the whole piece seem like one big thought or journey. The themes for the show are what it means to be an outsider and to live your authentic life. And also there is talk of circumcision, or lack of on my part!

I went on to perform the show in Peekskill NY, New Brunswick NJ, the Cape Cod Jazz and Arts festival,

Alan Cumming Is Not Acting His Age

I started off 2024 with a tour of the UK: two nights at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, then Manchester’s Bridgewater hall, ending in Glasgow at the Armadillo (a magical night).

Next I performed a shortened version of the show aboard an Atlantis cruise, before touring Texas (Houston, Dallas and San Antonio) then the Saunders Theatre in Cambridge MA and two shows on Broadway at New York City’s Studio 54.
