I recorded a duet with Griogair Labhruidh, 2014, which was the first single from his solo album. The song was released to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the independence referendum in Scotland and highlighted the many lies the Scottish people were told in order to vote against their independence.
I had previously sung with Griogair when shooting Miriam and Alan: Lost in Scotland, when we visited him in a recording studio near Ben Nevis and I recorded Fairy Woman’s Lullaby with him
To coincide with the release of Victor and Barry’s Kelvinside Compendium, Forbes Masson and I released a new song, Back In the Day - the first Victor and Barry song for thirty years!
Forbes wrote it and we recorded it in a studio in Glasgow right round the corner from the Tron theatre, where Victor and Barry got their big break forty years before!
