Miriam and Alan: Lost In Scotland

I went around Scotland in a van with the great Miriam Margolyes, in a three part travel series for Channel 4 !

The Cinnamon Bear

I play the titular role in The Cinnamon Bear, a twenty part series for Audible based on a radio series that debuted in 1937 as a cliffhanger-style children’s show that featured daily episodes during the holiday season. Audible brought the event back with a modern makeover in a series adapted by Eric Gilliland. The series is directed by David Cromer and features a music score by James Fearnley, founding member of The Pogues. It’s produced by Danielle von Zerneck, Adam Pincus and Best Case Studios.

The cast is pretty insane…

Caledonia

I recorded a duet with my chum KT Tunstall of Dougie Maclean’s great Scottish song, Caledonia. We released it on Burns night (the anniversary of the birth of national bard poet Robert Burns’ birthday,2 5th January) and the proceeds went to Voices For Scotland, an organisation dedicated to facilitating conversation about independence for Scotland.
